It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Evadale can now relate to. They took a blow against the Overton Mustangs on Thursday, falling 68-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rebels were not able to get on the board.

Brayden Carrell made two total tackles. Devin Terrell was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards. On the ground, Landon Wright made five total tackles.

Bryce Still was his usual excellent self, throwing for 266 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns for Overton. Still's longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. 175 of Still's passing yards were hauled in by Jayden Edwards, who also brought in two receiving touchdowns.
