Baseball Recap: Lawrenceburg Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

After only two runs in their last matchup, Lawrenceburg made sure to put some runs up on the board against Rising Sun on Saturday. The Tigers walked away with a 10-6 win over the Shiners. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Shiners recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Kolton Chase was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted over his last nine contests. J.P. Izzo also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen bases of the season.

Lawrenceburg pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Rising Sun, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
