Volleyball Recap: Weddington Victorious + How To Watch

Weddington won the last time they faced Lake Norman and things went their way on Monday too. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Weddington was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-14, 22-25, 25-21.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alayna Lefebvre, who had eight digs and two aces. Lefebvre has been hot recently, having also posted 15 or more assists the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jordin Smith, who had 24 digs and one assist.

Weddington's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Lake Norman, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Weddington has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Independence on the 19th. As for Lake Norman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Marvin Ridge on the 20th.
