The Springville Red Devils will face off against the Spanish Fork Dons at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Springville comes in on four and Spanish Fork on three.
Springville hadn't beaten Salem Hills on the road since April 4, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Red Devils blew past the Skyhawks 13-3. The matchup marked the Red Devils' most dominant victory of the season.

 Zander Oakey
| 04/24/25 @ Salem Hills | 6 |
| 04/08/25 @ Wasatch | 2 |
| 03/22/25 @ Snow Canyon | 2 |
| 03/14/25 @ Union | 1 |
Springville got a great performance from Zander Oakey as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Those six strikeouts gave Oakey a new career-high.
At the plate, Reid Deede was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Springville is 2-1 when Deede posts two or more runs, but 6-10 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Easton Van Sickle, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
Springville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spanish Fork). Everything went their way against Cedar Valley on Thursday as they made off with an 11-2 win.
Swae Nielson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on four hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Nixon Warren was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Boston Duvall, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Springville's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Spanish Fork, their win bumped their record up to 6-12.
Springville beat Spanish Fork 6-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
