Baldwin piles up the points against Spalding

Recap: Baldwin Braves vs. Spalding Jaguars

In what's become a running theme this season, the Baldwin Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 86-32 victory over Spalding at home. Winning may never get old, but Baldwin sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Tremarius Lawrence continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Karez Demory, who scored 18 points along with four steals.

Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season. As for Spalding, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

Baldwin will head out on the road to take on Griffin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Griffin will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Baldwin is ranked 29th). As for Spalding, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westside at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
