Baseball Recap: Midfield Patriots vs. Fultondale Wildcats

Midfield had lost 12 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped down to 0-15 to make it 13. They came up short against the Fultondale Wildcats, falling 21-0. The Patriots were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in March of 2025.

Meanwhile, Rogers tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hudgens has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Hudgens went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBI, while Rogers went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three hits gave Hudgens a new career-high.

In other batting news, Fultondale got a massive performance out of Brody Mathis, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
