Yavneh Academy is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Pantego Christian on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Yavneh Academy had to suffer through a 71-42 loss at the hands of Pantego Christian. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-14.

Darren Sacher put forth a good effort for the losing side as he went 8 of 10 on his way to 18 points and four steals. What's more, he also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Daniel Sharvit was another key player, putting up six points.

Meanwhile, North Dallas Adventist Academy made easy work of Houston Adventist Academy on Thursday and carried off a 57-34 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sentinel.

North Dallas Adventist Academy now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Yavneh Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8.

Everything came up roses for Yavneh Academy against North Dallas Adventist Academy in their previous meeting on January 13th, as the team secured a 66-36 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Yavneh Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
