Baseball Recap: Coweta Find Success

Coweta won the last time they faced Midwest City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Bombers by a score of 7-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Alex Crawford spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brody Peck, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Trace Hall, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Coweta's record now sits at 14-10. As for Midwest City, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Looking ahead, Coweta will be playing in front of their home fans against Noble at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Midwest City, they are taking a road trip to challenge McAlester at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
