Basketball Recap: Colbert County Beats Clements for Their Third Straight Win

Colbert County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 68-61 win over the Clements Colts. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 84-55 back in December of 2024.

Colbert County has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Clements, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-19.

Colbert County will face off against Lauderdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Colbert County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Lauderdale County likes a good challenge. As for Clements, they will square off against Elkmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
