Recap: Northside Eagles vs. Peach County Trojans

The Northside Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-46 to Peach County. Northside was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Peach County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2019.

Despite the loss, Northside still got an impressive performance from Keron Milton jr., who scored 20 points. Milton jr. continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Chastan Brown, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and four blocks.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Peach County, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-8.

Northside will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tift County at 7:30 p.m. As for Peach County, they will head out on the road to face off against Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Upson-Lee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Peach County likes a good challenge.
