Volleyball Game Preview: Palma Chieftains vs. Pacific Grove Breakers + How To Watch

The Palma Chieftains will venture away from home to face off against the Pacific Grove Breakers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palma is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Palma didn't have quite enough to beat King City and fell 3-2.

Palma took King City into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Pacific Grove got the win against Stevenson on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Breakers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Pacific Grove walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-15.

Palma's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pacific Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

Palma skirted past Pacific Grove 3-2 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chieftains since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
