Softball Recap: Dell Rapids Triumphs

While Dell Rapids's victory against Vermillion wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Quarriers had just enough and edged out the Tanagers 5-4. The Quarriers haven't had any issues with the Tanagers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Aisley Grib, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.

Dell Rapids' record is now 5-7. As for Vermillion, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dell Rapids is set to take on their familiar foe Elk Point-Jefferson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Vermillion will face off against rival Dakota Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
