Baseball Recap: Highland Find Success

Highland won the last time they faced Miyamura and things went their way on Saturday too. The Highland Hornets walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Miyamura Patriots. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The team relied heavily on Davi Shima, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Tennison, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Highland's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Miyamura, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Highland will welcome Del Norte at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Miyamura will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bloomfield at 1:30 p.m. on March 13th.
