Basketball Recap: Rock Hill Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Rock Hill had won two straight games and Chloe Hudson did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Rock Hill Bearcats claimed a resounding 72-25 victory over the Chambers Cougars thanks in part to Hudson, who went 8 of 17 on her way to 32 points along with six boards and five assists. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Stevenson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 assists. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (three).

Rock Hill pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Chambers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Rock Hill will take on Military Magnet Academy in a tournament on December 28th. As for Chambers, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lakewood at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Chambers is facing Lakewood at the right time seeing as Lakewood is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
