Basketball Game Preview: Fletcher Wildcats vs. Hydro-Eakly Bobcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Fletcher didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Alex, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Hydro-Eakly earned a 68-59 win over Thomas-Fay-Custer last Friday. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Terriers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Fletcher pushed their record up to 11-14 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points over those games. As for Hydro-Eakly, their victory bumped their record up to 16-7.
