The Bruceville-Eddy Eagles lost against the Crawford Pirates back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Bruceville-Eddy was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to Crawford. Bruceville-Eddy has struggled against Crawford recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kambrie Diaz, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Diaz hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Kalli Speasmaker, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and five assists.

Bruceville-Eddy's defeat dropped their record down to 16-20. As for Crawford, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
