Volleyball Recap: Vandalia Christian Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Vandalia Christian kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Burlington Christian Academy Royals. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it nine in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Anna Wilson, who had eight digs and two aces.

Burlington Christian Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vandalia Christian will take on Fellowship Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they will square off against Clover Garden School at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
