Basketball Recap: Treasure Coast Extends Winning Streak to Three

Treasure Coast posted their biggest victory since December 4, 2024 on Thursday. They blew past the Titusville Terriers 63-40. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Terriers are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Treasure Coast's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Warren Sharry, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 14 points. What's more, Sharry also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. Dejuan Preston was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points.

The win was the third in a row for Treasure Coast, bringing their record for this year to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Titusville, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Treasure Coast won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Tradition Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Tradition Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. As for Titusville, they will square off against Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
