Football Recap: Pontiac Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pontiac lost against Prairie Central back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians fell 17-12 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 410th, while the Hawks are ranked 155th).

The critical scores for Prairie Central came from Will Skala and Dalton Steidinger.

This is the second loss in a row for Pontiac and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Prairie Central, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Pontiac wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 48-22 loss against Paxton-Buckley-Loda on the 12th. As for Prairie Central, they have also already played their next game, a 14-13 victory against St. Teresa on the 13th.
