Basketball Recap: Carrollton Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Carrollton waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Glasgow Yellowjackets by a score of 53-43. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 36-35 win the Yellowjackets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Carrollton's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Glasgow, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Carrollton will square off against Orrick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Glasgow, they will host New Franklin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Franklin will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight.
