Volleyball Recap: Wiley Comes Up Short

Wiley lost against Eads back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-14, 25-20.

Wiley's offense was headlined by Jacee Kravig and Gaige Pankey, who picked up five kills apiece. Kravig really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Lylah Reinhardt and Anistin Gonzales kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Wiley now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Eads, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Wiley has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] on the 16th. As for Eads, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Granada on the 19th.
