Softball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline lost against Hillcrest on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Grizzlies fell just short of the Knights by a score of 6-5. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brylee Scott and Dixee O'Haver did some serious damage despite the final result: Scott went 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI, while O'Haver went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Scott has launched this season.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1. As for Hillcrest, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Skyline and Hillcrest will both be playing Blackfoot the next time they take the field. The Grizzlies will host the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Knights will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
