Basketball Recap: Springdale Prep Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Springdale Prep Lions were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-46 to the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Springdale Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Lancaster Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Springdale Prep will venture away from home to take on Rosedale Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will head out to face off against Eastern Lebanon County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
