Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Springfield Southeast). They came out on top against the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers by a score of 26-18 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

When it comes to explaining why Decatur Eisenhower lost, don't look at Garryon Henderson. Despite the final result, he rushed for 217 yards and two scores while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 83 yards and one TD.

Springfield Southeast's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Decatur Eisenhower, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

As of now, neither Springfield Southeast nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
