Basketball Game Preview: Davenport North Wildcats vs. Assumption Knights

Davenport North is a perfect 10-0 against Assumption since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Davenport North Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Assumption Knights at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Davenport North came up short against Pleasant Valley and fell 60-47.

Meanwhile, Assumption was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 60-54 to North Scott.

Davenport North's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Assumption, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Davenport North beat Assumption 45-35 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Davenport North since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
