Volleyball Recap: Reagan Toole Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Stivers School for the Arts

Miamisburg won the last time they faced Stivers School for the Arts and things went their way on Saturday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0.

Miamisburg easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-17.

Miamisburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Toole led the charge by getting eight aces and six digs. Those eight aces gave Toole a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sarah Buchy, who had six digs and two aces.

Miamisburg's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Stivers School for the Arts, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Miamisburg and Stivers School for the Arts will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Vikings are set to take on their familiar foe Beavercreek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stivers School for the Arts will challenge rival Ponitz Career Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
