Baseball Recap: Elba Comes Up Short

Elba has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.83 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They lost 11-2 to the Kendall Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Elba saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Jachimowicz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Elba's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Kendall, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Elba will head out to challenge Jasper-Troupsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kendall, they will square off against Webber at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
