Volleyball Recap: Union Colony Prep Falls Despite Big Games from Nadene Chacon and Dulce Morales + How To Watch

Union Colony Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Estes Park Bobcats. The Timberwolves were not able to make up for their loss to the Bobcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-22, 21-25, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Union Colony Prep had strong showings from Dulce Morales, who had 22 digs and one assist, and Nadene Chacon, who had 21 digs, six kills, and three blocks. Chacon is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now had two or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Jade Ertl was a one-woman wrecking crew For Estes Park. as she had 21 digs and two aces. Those 21 digs gave Ertl a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Talia Moore, who had nine digs and four aces.

Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Estes Park, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
