Soccer Recap: Lake Placid Falls to Chazy in First Game of Season

Lake Placid unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 8-1 to the Chazy Eagles on Monday. Lake Placid were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

The victory (which was Chazy's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Chazy will welcome Northern Adirondack at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Placid will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' match: after the Eagles face off against Keene Central, they'll take on Lake Placid again at 6:00 p.m. on October 3.
