Basketball Game Preview: Meigs Marauders vs. Westfall Mustangs

The Meigs Marauders and the Westfall Mustangs will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Meigs knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Westfall likes a good challenge.

On Friday, Meigs took their contest with ease, bagging a 92-50 victory over River Valley. The Marauders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Westfall came up short against Adena on Friday and fell 72-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (58), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Westfall has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. As for Meigs, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
