Softball Recap: Rosepine Beats Florien for Their Seventh Straight Win

Rosepine came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Florien Blackcats 17-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Rosepine pushed their record up to 12-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Florien, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-15.

Rosepine has already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Live Oak on the 4th. Florien has also already played their next matchup (against Montgomery), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
