Softball Recap: Midd-West Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Columbia, Midd-West was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mifflinburg Wildcats a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

The victory got Midd-West back to even at 4-4. As for Mifflinburg, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midd-West will head out to face off against Troy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mifflinburg, they will venture away from home to take on Lewisburg at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
