Football Recap: Western Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Calie Greene and Milani Bonds

On Thursday, the Western Warriors came up short against the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans and fell 20-12. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Milani Bonds and Calie Greene certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Bonds gained 145 total yards, while Greene threw for 175 yards and one touchdown.

Western's record is now 4-11. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they moved to 4-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Western didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 22-0 win against Democracy Prep Agassi Campus on the 31st. As for Cimarron-Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 20-14 defeat against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 31st.
