Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Railsplitters vs. Quincy Blue Devils

The Lincoln Railsplitters just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Quincy Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, Lincoln lost to Lanphier at home by a 44-30 margin. The contest marked the Railsplitters' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lincoln's loss came about despite a quality game from Brody Tungate, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Quincy had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 56-44 win over the Rocks.

Quincy's victory was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. As for Lincoln, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.

Lincoln ended up a good deal behind Quincy in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, losing 48-31. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
