It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Scurry-Rosser ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Palmer Bulldogs 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Scurry-Rosser pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Palmer, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 games. That's still a better percentage than their 4-15-1 record this season.
