Basketball Recap: Marine Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

Marine Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Rickover Naval Seadragons 57-29. The Bulldogs lost against the Seadragons in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 71-69 score last time.

Marine Leadership Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rickover Naval, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marine Leadership Academy will venture away from home to take on Intrinsic at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rickover Naval, they will head out on the road to challenge Foreman at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
