Soccer Game Preview: Horizon Science Academy vs. Heath

The Horizon Science Academy Hawks will challenge the Heath Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Horizon Science Academy knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Heath likes a good challenge.

If Heath heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Horizon Science Academy took over last week. The Hawks walked away with a 5-3 victory over Granville Christian Academy on Saturday. Regan Shozi was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Heath made sure to put some goals up on the board against Bishop Rosecrans on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Bishops. The result was nothing new for Heath, who have now won eight contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Horizon Science Academy pushed their record up to 12-2-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those five matchups. As for Heath, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.
