Baseball Recap: Keystone Oaks Comes Up Short

Keystone Oaks suffered their closest loss since May 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Charleroi Cougars by a score of 7-5. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Keystone Oaks saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady McDine, who scored a run while going 1-for-4. Another was Ian Bickel, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Keystone Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Charleroi, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
