Soccer Recap: Weir Takes a Loss

Weir's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the North Marion Huskies by a score of 3-2. Weir have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North Marion, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Weir will head out to take on Brooke at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Weir will be up against Brooke's rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Marion, they will face off against East Fairmont at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
