Baseball Recap: Hilliard Darby Drops Highest Score of Season Against Westerville South

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hilliard Darby). Everything went their way against the Westerville South Wildcats on Monday as they made off with a 15-5 win. The Panthers have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Hilliard Darby let Drew Limbird and Cooper Gilkerson run wild. Limbird went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI, while Gilkerson went 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and two RBI. Hilliard Darby is 3-1 when Gilkerson posts two or more runs, but 10-11 otherwise. Sage Kean was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
