Heritage had won 11 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Saturday they bumped up to 5-3 to make it 12. They took their game with ease, bagging a 57-21 win over the Spanish River Sharks. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 36 points or more this season.

Heritage's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Oda Tveiten, who posted 13 points along with eight boards and four steals. Tveiten is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played. Jordyn Baker was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.

Heritage was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spanish River only racked up two.

Having lost for the first time this season, Spanish River fell to 3-1. Having soared to a lofty 56 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Spanish River's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ellie Neuman, who put up five points along with nine boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kaci Chambers, who had two points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Heritage will square off against Rockledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spanish River, they will host Park Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
