Soccer Recap: Crandall Takes a Loss

Crandall lost against Midlothian back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crandall Pirates came up short against the Midlothian Panthers, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 456th, while the Panthers are ranked 20th).

Crandall has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. The win (which was Midlothian's 12th in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Looking ahead, Crandall will challenge Kaufman at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Crandall is facing Kaufman at the right time seeing as Kaufman is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Midlothian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Midlothian face off against the Terrell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
