West Stanly will need to focus on slowing down Romelo Wells, one of several Burns players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 93 yards and three TDs. Another player making a difference was Drew Dixon, who gained 174 total yards and a touchdown.

Burns suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 6-4. As for West Stanly, their victory bumped their record up to 2-9.
