Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marion). They put the hurt on the Nettleton Raiders with a sharp 21-4 victory on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Patriots with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Marion and bumps their season record up to 11-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Nettleton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marion will welcome Wynne at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Nettleton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley View at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
