Basketball Game Preview: West Davidson Dragons vs. North Davidson Black Knights + Official Tickets

West Davidson hasn't had much luck against North Davidson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Dragons will get right back to it and host the Black Knights at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Thursday, West Davidson was able to grind out a solid win over Southwestern Randolph, taking the game 55-48.

Meanwhile, North Davidson played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 77-56 to Ledford. The loss put an end to the Black Knights' undefeated start to the season.

West Davidson will have to contain Grayson Rush as he made an impact in North Davidson's last game. He dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. Rush is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Spencer Berrier, who posted nine points.

West Davidson now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Davidson, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.

West Davidson ended up a good deal behind North Davidson when the teams last played back in December of 2024, losing 54-36. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
