While Churchill's win against Franklin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chargers had just enough and edged out the Patriots 8-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-4 back in April.

The victory made it two in a row for Churchill and bumps their season record up to 18-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Franklin, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-17.

As of now, neither Churchill nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
