Baseball Recap: Eastview Takes a Loss

Eastview lost against Shakopee back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lightning lost 11-1 to the Sabers. That's two games in a row now that the Lightning have lost by exactly ten runs.

Eastview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Repke, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Eastview dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Shakopee, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastview is set to take on their familiar foe Prior Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Shakopee will face off against rival Burnsville at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
