While Eureka's win against El Paso-Gridley wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Hornets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Titans 5-4. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans on Wednesday, too.

Eureka is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-10 record this season. As for El Paso-Gridley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eureka is set to square off against their familiar foe Heyworth at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, El Paso-Gridley will challenge rival LeRoy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
