The Waverly Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Dansville Aggies at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waverly is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Waverly didn't have quite enough to beat Holt and fell 11-10. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tre Combs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Jackson Delong, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Dansville didn't have quite enough to beat Lansing Christian on Thursday and fell 3-2.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 7-3. As for Dansville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Everything went Waverly's way against Dansville in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Waverly made off with a 17-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
