Football Recap: Pottsboro Cardinals vs. Sanger Indians
After flying high against Bells last Friday, Pottsboro came back down to earth. The Cardinals took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sanger Indians on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cardinals came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Indians are ranked 526th).
Sanger's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reginald Jones, who rushed for 120 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Bola Ogunwuyi, who rushed for 75 yards and one score on only eight carries.
